Welcome to Oak Hills Lake Development Association
In 1959, the Oak Hills Lake Development Association was created to maintain the lake as well as protect and enhance property values for all homeowners on the lake. Elected yearly from the 55 lake lot owners, a Board consisting of a revolving group of no less than nine volunteer homeowners manages the fisheries, wildlife, water quality and aesthetics, along with deeper issues like dredging and drainage.
Why should I join OHLDA?
Discover the benefits of being a member of the Oak Hills Lake Development Association (OHLDA). Get access to private resources, meet fellow lake members, and shape the future of our association.
Property Value Protection
We maintain the lake standards, helping to preserve or increase property values.
Lake Maintenance
We ensure the fisheries, wildlife, drainage, water quality, and aesthetics are well-maintained, enhancing the lake's overall appeal.
Social Events
We have a crawfish boil in the Spring for all family members, and an adult Christmas/Holiday party in December. We also decorate our banks during the Holidays. "Light Up the Lake" is an event that allows us to night cruise the lake, visiting neighbors and enjoying the reflections.
Private Access
Oak Hills Lake is a piece of Private Property owned by the Oak Hills Lake Development Association (OHLDA). Use of the lake is restricted to OHLDA members. Membership grants you and your family total access to the lake, including boating and fishing.
